Trusted Termite Control in Tarboro, NC

Tarboro laid out its Town Common back in 1760, and the Victorian and older frame houses on the streets around it are some of the best kept in Eastern North Carolina. They also sit on old brick piers over dirt crawl spaces, which is exactly where termite control Tarboro homeowners need most.

A termite inspection from us is free. We check every pier, sill plate and porch post, look for mud tubes on the brick, and tell you what we found in plain words. Our termite control from start to finish is laid out on our main termite page.

Floyd in 1999 and Matthew in 2016 both put the Tar River into Tarboro and over Princeville. Soil that has been underwater stays damp for a long time, and damp soil next to a foundation is an open invitation to subterranean termites.

Subterranean termite treatment means a liquid barrier trenched around the foundation and termite bait stations wherever a porch slab or walkway blocks it. It is the same approach our Rocky Mount termite crews use just up US 64.

Old shade trees, deep shrub beds and decades of mulch keep the soil around Tarboro homes moist. Termite monitoring means we come back on a schedule, check each bait station and replace bait where termites have been feeding.

Termite control Tarboro families can count on does not end when the truck leaves. Our regular pest visits can be lined up with the bait checks, so one trip covers both.

Termite prevention is mostly a moisture job. We lay moisture barrier plastic over crawl space dirt, seal crawl spaces and install automatic vents. We laid 160 rolls of plastic last year, so this is everyday work for us.

The crawl space crews come from the same office as our Wilson termite team. If we find damage, we mark every soft board so termite damage repair goes exactly where it is needed.

Residential termite control is most of our Tarboro work, but the brick storefronts on Main Street and the churches around town have old wood too. Commercial termite control is scheduled around business hours and comes with a written record of what was treated.

Owners with property in Pitt County can see the same service on our Greenville termite control page.
